"From 1987 to 1993, I was appointed professor of 'electronic' music at the French-speaking Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, in an experimental class (with a final competition but no official diploma, and appointed all the same!) Due to a lack of premises and equipment, the classes took place in the Musiques & Recherches studios. These were years rich in passionate exchanges with curious and open-minded students (over 20 in some years). This concert presents works by the students in this class and by myself based on the voice. It prepares the way for the master class, which offers a vast panorama of the use of the voice in acousmatic music, with numerous sound examples, all performed on the excellent INFLUX acousmonium in a 'mini' version of ± 32 loudspeakers."
