The Forum de la Création Musicale is a professional federation representing composers in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
The association is therefore open to anyone living in Wallonia and Brussels, or who is French-speaking and of Belgian nationality.
Each member is free to define himself/herself as a professional by identifying with at least one of the following criteria (with no hierarchy between them):
- Specialized training (Master's degree in composition, writing or similar)
- Be recognized as a composer by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation
- Proof of professional activity in the field of musical creation and the existence of a catalog of at least 5 productions, with an average of one annual production over the last 3 years.
The FCM is open to any person wishing to join, provided that the membership committee accepts the application after reviewing the dossier (the committee reserves the right to accept or reject an application without giving reasons).
This committee, comprising 5 members, will be drawn each year from among the full members. The directors will give an advisory opinion and will be present at each committee meeting to ensure that the procedure runs smoothly.

Once your registration has been validated, you will become an associate member upon payment of an annual fee of €30.
