Sturm und Klang for European Contemporary Music

Discover Belgian and European musical creations on May 24 at Le Senghor!

Circulating the contemporary musical repertoire through revivals is a central vocation of Sturm und Klang, regularly supported by ECCO, which brings the ensemble international recognition, and by the Forum de la Création Musicale. This is a unique opportunity to discover the abundant universe of Ziv Cojocaru (Israel, a student of Philippe Leroux), the playful energy of MoritzEggert (Germany), and the intimate poetry of Henrik Strindberg (Sweden). During this varied sonic journey, the ten musicians of the Brussels-based ensemble will also offer you two creations by Belgian composers, Sarah Wéry and Christian Klinkenberg, dynamic and unconventional figures in our musical landscape. While the ensemble has already performed two of Sarah's creations, this will be the first time the ensemble has worked with Christian Klinkenberg.
