Spectacle musical à vocation philanthropique de Jean-Marie Rens

Composer Jean-Marie Rens has created an original sung work which mixes the codes of different musical universes: contemporary European music, traditional Middle Eastern music, jazz-soul, hip-hop, and more. The texts of the sung part were written by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwich and evoke the drama of exile. The project was conceived by Philippe Saucez in support of the University of Mons aid programme for refugee students.
