A Flower's Dream
for solo piano - 2010 - ca 4'
A small piano piece composed like a musical dream dedicated to the japanese pianist Hana Midorikawa. "Hana" means "flower" in Japanese. Therefore, the score offers many Arabesques (like Art Nouveau garlands of flowers) where timbre and time are joining together in the heart of the work, slowing their steps to find the soft whispers of the initial musical words. Listen carefully and you'll be surprised by the insistance of the pitch H (he German B natural), which is in fact the first letter of the dedicatee's forename - whose delicate shade goes through the piece from the first to the last bars.
