For the 5th edition of its Autumn Waves Festival, the Belgian Electroacoustic Music Federation welcomes you to three exceptional evenings of sound creation. An immersive, sensual experience, performed on a large orchestra of loudspeakers, the acousmonium, with an exciting aesthetic diversity: electroacoustic and acousmatic music, live electronics, modular synthesis and mixed music, with cello, trombone and clarinet.
Autumn Waves gives a major place to our members, composers from every region of Belgium, while opening a window on international creation with, through our partners in the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music, works from the United States, Italy, Greece, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Ukraine. And, last but not least, a tribute to Francis Dhomont and Paul Geladi, as well as works from the repertoire by Leo Kupper, Luc Ferrari, Beatriz Ferreyra and Robert Normandeau.
Autumn Waves also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, with meetings on the use of the Max software.
