Apolline Jesupret

Apolline Jesupret

It was by weaving links between his favourite instrument, the piano, and a creative nature that Apolline Jesupret developed an interest in composition. Her artistic personality is defined by a balance between energetic expressiveness and poetic interiority, between passion for music and attraction to other art forms.
Trained at the Conservatoire royal de Mons with Rosella Clini for piano and Claude Ledoux for composition, she later specialized in piano and instrumental pedagogy at the Université de Montréal.
Apolline Jesupret regularly composes for festivals (Impuls, Ars Musica, Belgian Music Days), for ensembles (Musiques Nouvelles, Sturm und Klang, Tempus Konnex, Ensemble 21) as well as for solo and chamber music performers. In 2019, she won the "Ca balance musique contemporaine" competition with her work "Et sous Mossoul" for solo voice and ensemble.
In the future, Apolline Jesupret will release a monographic CD under the Cyprès label. She is also in connection with the Duo Etna (violin-piano) and the actress Emma Pourcheron in the creation of a multidisciplinary show.
