In, um und um herum
A recital by Thérèse Malengreau, piano
A solitary piano that continues to discover itself and is open to the world, opening up the imagination. The German tongue-breaker evoked by Thérèse Malengreau refers to the multiple facets and roles assumed by the piano in the creations she has assembled. As if in a puzzle-doll, a piano in black and white, sober or dazzling, but also at play in the strings, from the investigation of its timbres and harmonics to the experimentation of movements of opposite intensity, of accessories deceiving its primary vibratory properties, right up to the material offered to the virtual electronic partner, absent double or creator of a wide environment.
