You, Lonely Japanese Woman

Composed at the request of the Belgian pianist Jean-Noël Remiche who premiered it at the Ars Musica Festival, on November 15th 2016.

The piece is inspired by few Japanese haikus which gave some expressive directions in its different sections.

  Are relaxing in the old Garden »

In the score, a game of anagrams around the ASCH notes - ashes in German - is revealed at key moments in the score and generate its delicate harmonies.
