Line Adam

Line Adam is a Belgian composer whose work stands at the crossroads of concert music, film and theatre. Active since the 1980s, she has developed a distinctive musical language marked by a strong dramaturgical dimension and a keen sense of orchestral colour.

She has composed the music for numerous films and documentaries broadcast notably on ARTE, FRANCE 2, TV5MONDE, TSR and RTBF, including The Mercy of the Jungle, Voltaire and the Calas Affair, and La Louve. Her catalogue also includes works for ensembles and orchestras such as the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and Musiques Nouvelles, as well as several operas, including Sybil et les Silhouettes and Fleurs de peau, created at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, and the chamber opera Micromégas based on Voltaire.

Alongside her work as a composer, she has produced more than seventy albums as an arranger and artistic director. Her works continue to be regularly performed in concerts, theatre productions and international festivals.
